Muthoot Group celebrated 25 years of ownership and management of St. George’s  School, in the year 2007.

The present day corporate giant began its first operations in a humble town of Kozhencherry (a town in Kerela) in the year 1939. It was founded by Late Shri Ninan Mathai Muthoot and Late Shri. M. George Muthoot - men with a clear vision and pure ideals. The Group, over the years, has grown and matured on a grand scale with diverse fields of interests. It is currently present in 18 states of the country and has interests in fields like Banking & Financing; Leasing & Hire Purchase; Real Estate Development; Hospitality & Hotels; Agriculture, Horticulture & Plantations; Automobiles; Engineering & Paper Mills; Information Technology; Health Care; Holistic Medical Care and Education.
