A Day at St. George's

A Day at St. George's School

School day for a Georgean begins with prayers, where the Lord is thanked for making the world so wonderful and bright. Activities in the classroom kick-starts amidst the crackling of freshly arrived newspaper as the students get busy finding out happenings around the world. Under the watchful eye of the class teacher the Georgeans get ready for a day filled with studies, fun and activities in the home rule period. There certainly is not a dull moment, with boys and girls moving in and out of the science and computer laboratories, library, and dance and music room and of course the most happening place; the sprawling games field.

The monotony of everyday routine is broken by various cultural and sports inter house and inter class activities. Students are also encouraged to take part in inter school activities, and students from other schools are invited to take part in activities organized by the school.

Special assemblies to celebrate St. George’s day and the birth anniversaries of national leaders add colour to life at school.

Juniors have different club activities which helps them to explore their hidden talents and try their hands at developing hobbies.
