Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of a pupil. There are no retests for any of the examination and unit test. Hence, the regularity of the attendance and the class work are important. A minimum 40% of marks in EACH subject is necessary for promotion. |
Nursery up to Class V, have continuous assessment and evaluation throughout the year and grades are given accordingly. Middle school and Senior school have their academic year divided into terms and their examinations are held after each term. Unit tests are held for each subject in between the terms to gauge the student’s understanding and application on the subjects taught so far and also to fine-tune him or her for the main exams.
